Approach:	The best approach is to follow a rough path up to the right of Middle Quarry to reach a low wall. Hop over this and follow its right side for 100m then back over at a grassy slope that leads to the quarry top. The tunnel can be found by descending rightwards from the north end of the quarry down the eastern hillside (overlooking Hodge Close) to reach a collection of ruined quarry buildings atop a massive spoil heap. The entrance is behind the buildings and has a short wet stepping stones section to reach a dry and level tunnel that emerges in a low cavern below the right side of the West Face. The easiest abseil is probably from the belay bolts at the top of Whiskey Galore. This is located on a slab alongside a grassy bay in a distinctive cut in the rim, The Notch, midway along the eastern side.

The Upper or Top Quarry lies immediately above Middle Quarry. Locally known as Tunnel Hole Quarry, which more accurately describes it, this is a large hole in the ground only accessible by abseil or a hidden tunnel on its eastern flank. The most prominent feature is a huge arched cave at the southern (uphill) end. The West Face features a long bow-shaped wall of steep groovesand slants down hill rightwards to end at the low cavern. The climbs typically have difficult lower sections that ease with height.The first route is on a short wall to the left of this section starting from a prominent large square block leaning against the face. Routes are described left to right.
