Waters Cottage – Maintenance Meet Saturday 28th August, 2021

For a variety of reasons the number of volunteers signed up to this Meet has dropped to just half a dozen. We can manage with this low number – we have had to before – but really it would be better if we had, say, ten folk working on the day. New heating is being installed at the hut this week, and there is likely to be some painting and decorating needing doing to spruce the place up in the aftermath. So no excuses about the midges, please, these are inside jobs! As further incentive we can offer three nights free accommodation – Friday, Saturday and Sunday – biscuits, soup and cake during meal breaks and the Wardens chilli con carne plus vino collapso followed by fresh fruit salad for dinner.
