Joint CC/FRCC Meet at Brackenclose, Wasdale July 19th-21st 

Wasdale in high summer – what’s not to like? Walking, cragging, high mountain climbing – all from the superb base of the FRCC’s superb newly rebuilt/refurbished hut, ideally positioned at the start of the main Scafell path.

This is a joint meet between the FRCC and the CC, all are welcome and we hope to see plenty of folk from both clubs.

As usual we’ll ‘mix & match’ anyone if required so feel free to come on your own, but it’s not compulsory!

There will be a communal meal on the Saturday night with food from the ever popular Wilf’s Cafe in Staveley. There will be a charge for this of around £12 per head – we’ll get in touch with everyone nearer the time to finalise details and arrange payment.

FRCC members should book and pay for the hut in the usual way – but please let us know that you are coming so we can keep track of numbers and make arrangements for the Saturday night meal!

CC members please book with either of us and we’ll take payment from you at the weekend. Kindred club rate £14, guests £18.
