There has been a large Rockfall on the upper part of the Raven Crag Buttress descent route and this should be avoided as the area appears very unstable. The best descent route is to head uphill to join the path that descends to the right of East Raven (looking up). This fall is likely to have affected the finishes of a number of routes, possibly including Bilberry Buttress on the left and Revelation on the right but this has not been confirmed.
A photograph of the rockfall location can be found at:

NB. There has also been a recent large rockfall in Tilberthwaite Quarry. Take care.
I have been up to the crag a couple of times now. Original notes on the rockfall and subsequent observation can bee seen at:

Checked and climbed the routes on Revelation buttress today 28/8/18 can confirm that End Elevation, Revelation and Elevation have not been damaged by the rock fall, just some minor scaring and dust on the start of Elevation. However the lower section of all three routes remain exposed to the debris that has accumulated on the upper ledges with the posibility of further rock fall untill fully cleared.
