The new Eskdale guidebook is on the verge of going to the printers, and is available for pre-order for members at the usual member’s discount. It should be available mid-February.
This new guide is an essential addition to the Lake District climbing library with detailed coverage of 60 crags with almost 1,000 routes described, including:
- the roadside crags of Lower Eskdale, including Brantrake, Bell Stand and Hare Crags
- mountain crags in remote Upper Eskdale, including Esk Buttress and Heron Crag
