While the warden was at Raw Head today someone from the council called this morning to deliver a letter re a road closure that will effect the hut. This is to repair the crater (pothole doesn’t really describe it!) at Harrys place on the B5343 a mile or so east of the hut.

The body of the letter states :-

“Works will begin on 24/11/21 and will take approximately 3 days to complete. Work will start at 08:00 and finish 15:00 each day and for safety reasons the road will be closed.

Vehicular access into or through the work area will be limited and only possible when it is safe to allow, however access for emergency services will be unaffected”
