Edge Hog 20m HS

This small, esoteric crag is worth the short approach walk if only to experience the excellent rock of the headwall; it also receives all the Langdale sun. Start at a right slanting groove just left of Sevings Groove. Climb the groove until confronted by a heather barrier. Step left and pull up the gently overhanging wall on surprisingly big holds to a grassy ledge. From behind the decaying tree, enjoy the headwall via small pockets on immaculate rock.
