Fell & Rock Climbing Club

Enjoyable climbing that seeks out the fine hanging slab left of Route 2. Start below a large block 8m left of Route 2 and 3m left of the variation chimney. Climb up to gain the block, ascend the fine steep slab direct (crux) to an overhang. Pass the overhang via a short dark groove on the right. A step left gains the rough walls above, follow these to grassy ledges and an in situ belay. Rappel or follow the usual descent route.
