A good pitch right of Lower Gully Wall that also provides an interesting alternative third pitch for Middlefell Buttress that is both longer and less polished.
Start two meters right of End Ever and directly below a small rowan tree.
A left slanting groove leads to a bulge. Surmount the awkward bulge, move left to gain a second groove that leads to a fine slab and arete finish.
To extend Middlefell Buttress route. From the large terrace at the top of pitch two traverse left along a rocky ledge below the abseil anchor to gain the grassy ledge below Lower Gully Wall.
