The topos on page 342/343 of Eastern Crags (2011) and page 441 of Lake District Rock (2015) appear to be incorrect. On the topo in Eastern Crags the belay at the top of Truss Buttress P1 is not marked, it is about where routes 11 (Slab Start) and 12 (Truss Buttress) meet. No belay is shown on the Topo in Lake District Rock (2015). The belay shown in Eastern Crags is actually the top of the route, the way down is reached by a zig zag scramble up easy ground above. The crag diagrams in the previous editions of Lake District Rock (2003) and Eastern Crags (1992) show the line correctly (see below). The final section of the route, as shown in the recent guides, is not part of Truss Buttress, could it be the top pitch of The Snip? This might make sense as The Snip is listed at 36m yet is shown finishing on the same ledge as Zhivago Sassenach which is just to its right and only 22m in length.
Route Comment: Truss Buttress
