The description on page 347 of the new Duddon and Wrynose guide is wrong in several ways: The route doesn’t start up a “corner”, it starts up a crack in a face. The “wider crack” cannot be followed to the top – it ends well short of the top and it is necessary to swing left, boldly, onto the fin and make some steep pulls to reach easier ground. The line on the topo, on page 347, is correct, and the description in the 2013 Langdale guide is accurate.
