Scrubby Gully 170m I
Posted by: Stephen Reid, 28.02.202226.02.2022, Freddy Dorling, Stuart Hesketh, Stephen JH Reid The obvious easy snow gully some 40m right of Pendulum Gully is not described in the guide, though it is mentioned in the description of Tongue and Groove, and must have been climbed many times before. It is worthwhile when nothing harder is in condition and gives straight-forward climbing with a few short steps – it deserves to be included in the guide. The photo shows Freddy Dorling and Stuart Hesketh at a point low down where the gully becomes more defined. Please note, we are not claiming a first ascent!
