The Committee is looking for members to fill the following roles:

Meets Secretary:  Hazel Jonas has worked tirelessly over the past 4 years as our Meets Secretary.  She’s now wishing to stand down.  As the Meets Secretary you would be an Officer of the Club and a member of the FRCC Committee.  If you are interested or want to find out a bit more about what’s involved, please contact Hazel Jonas in the first instance hazeljaynejonas@gmail.com or Beatrice Haigh on secretary@frcc.co.uk.

Dinner Secretary: Responsible for arranging all aspects of the Club’s Annual Dinner.   This is an Officer role and you would be a member of the FRCC Committee.  If you are interested, please contact Chris Paul (Acting Dinner Secretary) on chrispaul02@googlemail.com  in the first instance.

Obituarist.  This is a non-committee role, and the role description is available on the Club’s website on this link:  https://www.frcc.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/Obituarist-JD.pdf  If you are interested, please contact Wendy Dodds on Wendy.dodds7@btinternet.com

IT Officer:  This is intended to be a new Officer and Committee role subject to confirmation and a Rule change at the AGM 2024.  You would be a member of the FRCC Committee and relevant sub-committees.  If you are interested or want to know what’s involved, please contact Martyn Hodgson, Treasurer, on treasurer@frcc.co.uk in the first instance.

In each of these roles, we would like the transition to be one of co-operation between the current officer, if applicable, and whoever takes over.  No-one will be dropped in at the deep end.

Members are reminded that Associate Members are not eligible for election as Officers of the Club or to serve on the Committee (Rule 9.1.2)
